France and Azerbaijan are planning to open a collaborative university in Baku, this information became known at a press conference on the occasion of the business event Invest in France.
According to the Ambassador of France to Azerbaijan Pascal Monnier, the opening of a joint educational institution is one of the main objectives of cooperation between the two countries in the field of education.
"Strasbourg University is addressing this issue in France, and in Azerbaijan it is the Azerbaijan University of Oil and Industry," the Ambassador noted.
He also said that France, if necessary, will assist in the training of highly qualified personnel based on the standards of French education, Trend reports.
