The death toll in the collapse of the Russian Airborne Troops training center barracks in the Omsk Region has reached 18 people.
The barracks in the village of Svetly collapsed at 16:32 MSK.
"As of 8:30 MSK, 37 servicemen have been retrieved from the rubble, 18 of them dead, a search for 5 servicemen is ongoing," Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said.
A total of 19 servicemen are in medical institutions.
