The commander of the Russian peacekeepers in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict zone, Lieutenant General Rustam Muradov told reporters today that no military operations are being carried out in Nagorno-Karabakh and around it today.
"The most important thing is that all types of hostilities have been stopped, we did not hear a shot today. The situation is slowly stabilizing," he said.
According to the official spokesman of the Russian Ministry of Defense Igor Konashenkov, so far the Russian peacekeepers have already organized 12 observation posts that monitor the ceasefire in two zones - "South" (Khankendi, Agdam, Lachin) and "North" (Agdere, north of Terter and Aghdam regions of Azerbaijan).
More units of the 15th peacekeeping brigade arrived in Khankendi today. The safety of the movement of the units is ensured by the Russian military police.
