Today, the current head of the Donetsk People's Republic, Denis Pushilin, unveiled a memorial plaque dedicated to the deceased head of the self-proclaimed DPR, Alexander Zakharchenko, on the building where he lived.
"We are indebted to the first head of the republic. He led us in the most difficult period when nothing was clear, and we had to live one day at a time. Nonetheless, Alexander Vladimirovich loved and appreciated his land," Pushilin said at the unveiling ceremony, RIA Novosti reports.
