Construction of central skating rink begins in Stavropol

Construction of the city's main skating rink, which will be located in the center of the regional capital, has begun in Stavropol, the city administration announced.

The city administration confirmed that specialists are currently assembling the framework for the "In the Heart of the City" rink at the central square location – Lenin Square.

Mayor Ivan Ulyanchenko reported that more than 30,000 visitors enjoyed free skating sessions last winter, prompting early construction this year.

"Given the rink's significant popularity, we have again begun constructing the ice arena ahead of schedule",

Ivan Ulyanchenko stated.

The project is scheduled for completion by the end of November.
