Consulate General of Netherlands in Istanbul was attacked instead of Russian

Last night the Dutch Consulate General in Istanbul was attacked by demonstrators.

They threw eggs at the building of diplomatic representation.

The Consulate General staff believe that it was done by those who are unhappy with Russian operations in Syria, who confused it with the building of the nearby Russian consulate. "Angry Turkish demonstrators often confuse us with our close neighbors (the Russian consulate). Just like it was last night when they pelted us with eggs," Sputnik Azerbaijan cites the Twitter post of the Dutch Consul General, Robert Schuddeboom.
