Coronavirus infects child in Georgia for the first time

Georgia has reported eight new confirmed cases of COVID-19 increasing the total number of infected individuals to 23.

Among those diagnosed with COVID-19 is a 12-year-old child.

Head of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Tengiz Tsertsvadze said that the new cases are connected with Italy. 

In particular, all of the eight infected individuals had contact with those who have tested positive for coronavirus earlier, Agenda.ge reported.
