The death toll from new coronavirus in China has reached 213 people, China's National Health Commission said.
It was also noted that a total of 9,692 cases of the new coronavirus 2019-nCoV were confirmed in China, with an additional 1,220 confirmed cases of coronavirus in 17 cities as of January 30, South China Morning Post reported.
On December 31, 2019, Chinese authorities informed the WHO about an outbreak of an unknown pneumonia in Wuhan. Chinese experts identified the infecting agent: coronavirus 2019-nCoV.
