Georgia’s Parliament Speaker David Usupashvili met with the Secretary General of the Council of Europe (CoE), Thorbjorn Jagland, on a sideline meeting of the European Conference of Presidents of Parliament in Strasbourg.
The CoE Secretary General noted CoE-Georgia relations were effective and productive and future cooperation will be enhanced in all directions.
"The CoE will further cooperate with Georgia regardless of political spectrum in the new Parliament,” Jagland said.
They also discussed the upcoming Parliamentary Elections in Georgia, Agenda.ge reports.
