Today the Council of Muftis of Russia (SMR) criticized the head of the Central Spiritual Board of Muslims (TsDUM) of Russia, Talgat Tajuddin.
"We urge Sheikh Talgat Tajuddin not to sow discord among Muslims, as he doesn’t have powers to bestow titles and appoint people to positions, violating the laws of the Russian Federation and the Charter of the Spiritual Administration of Muslims, Interfax cites the message of the Council of Muftis, published on the official website.
