A counter-terrorism operation regime was imposed on the Untsukulsky district of Dagestan at 05.30 (MSK), a source in the power structures of the republic said.
"Efforts are under way to locate and neutralize illegal armed groups and their supporters," TASS cited a representative of the republic's operational headquarters as saying.
