A counter-terrorism operation regime was imposed on the Karabudakhkentsky District of Dagestan at 04.00 (MSK), a staff representative of the National Anti-Terrorism Committee said.
"Efforts are under way to locate and neutralize illegal armed groups," TASS cited a representative of the republic's operational headquarters as saying.
