A counter-terrorist alert has been imposed in two districts of Russia’s North Caucasian republic of Dagestan - Buynaksky and Kumtorkalinsky districts, a spokesman for the National Anti-terrorist Committee’s operations headquarters in Dagestan said.
"The alert was imposed at 06:30 Moscow time. Efforts are being taken to spot militants and their accomplices," TASS cited the spokesman as saying.
He added that a number of restrictions will be in force over the period of the alert.
