March 16 marks the third anniversary of the March 2014 referendum, which resulted in the reunification of Crimea with Russia.
The main celebration will be held in Sevastopol - flowers fill be laid at the National Militia of All Times Monument, there will be a festive procession in which, according to the authorities' forecasts, 10-15 thousand people will take part, TASS reports.
Holiday celebrations will be held in all regions of the Crimea.
Crimea rejoined Russia on March 16, 2014 when 96.77 percent of Crimean voters and over 95 percent of Sevastopol residents voted in favor of reunification in a referendum, after a coup in Ukraine in February of the same year.
