Crimea switches to digital television broadcasting

Next January, the Crimea will stop broadcasting analog TV, Deputy Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communication of the Republic Vadim Pervykh reported.

"The broadcasting of analog television will cease from January 2019," Pervykh said, stressing that along with the analog television shutdown, the entire territory of the peninsula will be fully covered with a digital signal, AiF-Crimea reports.
