The Deep Space Communication Center in Crimea has received new equipment, which will allow it, starting from 2016, to control satellites, the chief of staff of the 15th Army of Aerospace Forces (special purpose), Major-General Anatoly Nestechuk, told the radio station RSN.
"Five new models of weapons were already delivered. I think next year we'll start sessions of spacecraft control from Yevpatoriya," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
The military commander assured that all the work at the Center is being carried out according to schedule and without any disruptions to the plan.
