Crimean Tatars ask Erdogan to protect them from Dzhemilev and Chubarov

Today the Turkish Embassy in Russia today received a letter addressed to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan from the Crimean Tatars in Moscow with a request to stop the destructive activities of the former leaders of the Crimean Tatar Mejlis, Mustafa Dzhemilev and Refat Chubarov, on Turkish territory.

According to Tass, 30 people under the slogan ‘The fate of the Crimean Tatars in Crimea should be solved’ and ‘Crimea needs attention and care for all its children’ held a picket in front of the Turkish Embassy in Moscow. One of the activists, Timur Bulgakov, explained that in this way they were trying to encourage the representatives of the Crimean Tatar diaspora in Turkey to come to Crimea and see the life of the Crimean Tatars in Russia.
