Representatives of the Crimean Tatar community have appealed to the prosecutor of Crimea, Natalia Poklonsky, with a request to protect them from assaults by the former leaders of the Majlis, Mustafa Dzemilev and Refat Chubarov. The information was received in the days of the so-called Congress of the Crimean Tatars in Ankara.
"I have received a collective appeal from the Crimean Tatars with a request to protect them from Cemilev's and Chubarov’s statements, so that they leave the Crimean Tatars alone," Poklonskaya said. "If we take into consideration all these numerous appeals, they mean that the Crimean Tatars don’t accept either Chubarov or Dzhemilev, quite the opposite. These people are already acting as irritants among the Crimean Tatar people,’’ Tass cites her.
