Crimean authorities won’t desalinate water

The Crimean authorities are not planning to use desalination plants in order to provide people with water, deputy chairman of the State Committee for Water Resources and Land Reclamation of the Republic Andrey Lisovsky said.

"For the moment, it has been decided to do without desalination in Crimea. You’d better ask the Ministry of housing and communal services the question, because they are directly involved in the water supply of cities," Tass cites him as saying.
