The Fuel and Energy Minister of Crimea, Svetlana Borodulina, urged residents of homes with electric stoves to cook food for the holiday table during the day, and to dedicate the evening to communication.
"Today we have a day off, everyone will prepare for the holiday. During the daytime we have good support from solar and wind generation, so try to prepare what you cook on the electric stove during daylight hours. Recharge the battery, and devote time starting from six o'clock to communicating with each other. A friendly attitude to electricity is probably the best mutual gift between the residents of Crimea," Interfax quoted her as saying.
