A criminal case against 15 Armenian separatists will be sent to court soon. The Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan announced this on June 24.

Kamran Aliyev emphasized that the investigative actions had been completed.

"All their rights have been ensured in accordance with the domestic laws of the country and the requirements of international conventions. They have been provided with lawyers and interpreters. Currently, the accused, attorneys and victims are familiarizing themselves with the materials of the criminal case",

the Prosecutor General of the Republic of Azerbaijan said.

He clarified that after this the act would be submitted to the court.

Let us remind you that earlier the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan put on the international wanted list 15 defendants in the criminal case, who led an illegal separatist entity on the territory of the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan. They were arrested and taken to Baku. The detainees are accused of war crimes, terrorism, murder, creation of illegal armed groups, etc.
