A curfew was declared in the Silvan district of the Turkish southeastern province of Diyarbakır ahead of operations against the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), the district governor’s office has announced.
The province's authorities also reported that several buildings will be searched in Silvan.
