The customs authorities of Azerbaijan and Georgia have agreed to deepen mutual cooperation, the Press and Public Affairs Department of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan said.
The chairman of the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, customs service lieutenant-general Safar Mehdiyev met yesterday with head of the revenue service of the Georgian Finance Ministry Vakhtang Laskaradze, who arrived in Baku, noting that bilateral relations between the countries deepen year after year, and joint regional projects is
a bright example.
Noting that cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan in the field of customs, as well as in other areas, is developing at a high level, the chairman of the committee stressed that it should be further deepened," AzerTAc reported.
Vakhtang Laskaradze, in turn, expressed confidence in the further expansion of bilateral cooperation in all areas, including customs.
