Cyclist from Azerbaijan receives right to participate at Olympic Games in Rio

Azerbaijani cyclist, a member of the Continental team Synergy Baku Cycling Project Maksim Averin has received the right to participate at the Olympic Games 2016 in Rio de Janeiro. A corresponding notification was sent to the International Cycling Union.

Recall that according to the accepted rules, a cyclist has to receive a certain number of license points during four years in order to participate at the Olympic Games. Maksim Averin received 158 points and was among 142 cyclists who will take part in the road race in Rio de Janeiro, Trend reports.
