The Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Dagestan has started restoration of the defined body of water of Lake Aji in the Kayakentsky region of the republic.
Most of the lake is located on the territory of the Papasky hunting farm, which has practically dried up and is overgrown with reeds. Taking into account the importance of the object for the conservation of rare and endangered species of birds it was decided to rehabilitate the water object, which occupied an area of 525 hectares earlier, RIA Dagestan reports citing the press service of the Ministry of Environment of the Republic.
