The Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic, Sharip Sharipov, said that the Year of Gardening is taking place in Dagestan this year. Moreover, it was approved by Ramazan Abdulatipov. According to him, this decision maintained the development of agriculture in the region.
More than 1150 hectares of fruit trees were planted this spring. The Deputy Chairman also noted that the extension of intensive gardening supports the strategy of import substitution, RIA Dagestan reports.
