According to the Ministry of Labor of Dagestan, the republic's authorities continue to work to reduce the shadow sector of the republican economy and achieve certain successes.
Thus, according to open statistics, in 2020, more than 16,000 Dagestani workers are no longer in the shadow: 5,000 people formalized their activities in the status of individual entrepreneurs, more than 11,000 people signed formal employment contracts with employers.
