Consumers of natural gas in Dagestan will use gas meters with new sealing technology, the press service of the Gazprom Mezhregiongaz Pyatigorsk company reported.
The unique seal-safe feature with which the new counters are equipped means that any attempt to interfere with the meter's mechanism will damage the seals, and since it is installed by the gas supplier to the junction of the metering device with the gas mains, in the case of violation of the seal the gas supplier has the right to make an additional charge of the natural gas volumes for 6 months.
