At the moment, vegetable growers in Dagestan have harvested more than 869 thousand tons of harvest from 25 300 hectares, the Ministry of Agriculture of the republic reported.
The average yield for the region amounted to 343 centners per hectare.
The farms of Derbent (over 329 000 tons), Khasavyurt (more than 105 000 tons), Kizilyurtovskoye (over 80 000 tons) and Magaramkent (over 60 thousand tons) collected the largest harvest, RIA Dagestan reported.
The previous year, more than 730 thousand tons of vegetables were harvested by this time.
