Today the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs released statistics on the results of the weapon-amnesty operation in two districts of the republic.
For example, Botlikh district residents voluntarily surrendered one IL-48 hunting rifle, 112 rounds of 5.45 mm caliber and 15 bullets of 7.62 mm to the local department of the Interior Ministry of Russia.
In August, most of the residents of Dagestan handed over bullets, homemade pistols and hunting rifles to the police.
