According to the press service of the head of the republic, the authorities of Kabardino-Balkaria have created a Republican headquarters in order to estimate the damage caused by heavy rains and the hurricane winds this week.
"Today the head of Kabardino-Balkaria, Yuri Kokov, held an operational meeting. It was noted that due to the disaster 380 homes suffered, cultural institutions, three schools, a kindergarten, as well as more than 5 thousand hectares of crops," RIA Novosti cites the statement.
The activities of all infrastructures were restored, the population is being assisted in the repair of housing and cleaning the surrounding area.
