Damage in Tbilisi estimated at $23 million, Garibashvili says

According to Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, the damage in Tbilisi caused by the strongest flooding in the history of the city is estimated at $23 million, or almost 50 million laris.

In addition, the Prime Minister confirmed information about 12 dead and 24 missing residents of the capital.

‘‘Tbilisi has never suffered from such severe flooding as it did on June 14," Tass cites Garibashvili.
