Speaker of Kazakhstan’s Senate Dariga Nazarbayeva has no plans to run in the snap presidential election on June 9, her aide Saule Mustafayeva said.
"No, Nazarbayeva has no plans to run for president," Kazakh news website Tengrinews.kz cited Mustafayeva as saying.
Kazakhstan’s president Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said today that the presidential election will be held on June 9, 2019.
