Kyrgyz President Sooronbai Jeenbekov will pay official visit to Astana on December 25-26, the head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President's Office Aizada Subakojoyeva said.
Jeenbekov's visit will take place at the invitation of the President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
Subakojoyeva noted that narrow talks and negotiations with participation of delegations are planned during the meetings. Jeenbekov is also expected to meet with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Bakytzhan Sagintayev, AKIpress reported.
Subakojoyeva expressed the opinion the talks of the leaders of the two countries will give powerful momentum to the effective implementation of the road map. She also said that an agreement on the Kyrgyz-Kazakh border regime and border demarcation agreement are expected to be signed.
