Russia, the European Union and Ukraine are planning to hold a trilateral meeting on gas in Berlin on July 17, the Russian Energy Ministry said in a statement.
The Russian delegation will be led by the country's energy minister Alexander Novak.
"The key agenda of the talks will be discussion of the terms of transit via Ukrainian territory to European consumers including the duration of transit agreements between Gazprom and Naftogaz of Ukraine," Interfax cited the statement as saying.
In late May, Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of Energy Union Maros Sefcovic said he hopes that trilateral gas talks in the Russia-EU-Ukraine format will be held in July.
