David Kereselidze, who has traditionally led the briefings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, has resigned from the post of Georgia's Foreign Ministry spokesperson, but continues his work in the Foreign Ministry.
"The traditional briefings were suspended for technical reasons, as Kereselidze cannot hold the briefings anymore," the Foreign Ministry said, adding that he would "carry out specific tasks."
The briefings "will be resumed as soon as the situation settles down," the Foreign Ministry promised.
