Captain David Manero has been appointed as the new US military attaché in Russia, the press service of the Pentagon reported. On this occasion, Manero was promoted to the rank of Rear Admiral.
As TASS writes, the decision on appointment was made by Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Staff of the Navy John Richardson.
Prior to his appointment, David Manero served as Special Assistant to the Intelligence Agency of the Pentagon in Washington.
