Davutogdu: security zone in Syria may solve problem with refugees

Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu has said today at a press conference in New York that creation of a security zone in northern Syria may help to solve the refugee crisis.

The prime minister said that about 8-9 million Syrians have lost their homes. "They can easily become refugees. The only way to prevent this is to create a security zone in northern Syria, as well as build cities in oreder to place refugees there,’’ Tass cites him.

Davutoglu also noted that Turkey can help.
