The suicide bomber who blew himself up in Istanbul belonged to the banned terrorist group Daesh, the Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu said.
"The militant who carried out the attack against foreigners was a member of Daesh. All the victims of the explosion are foreigners," TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, the authorities of the country reported that the attack was carried out by a Syrian citizen who was born in 1988.
