The Turkish Armed Forces will not hesitate to shoot down planes if they violate the air space of the country, the Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said today, Reuters reports.
"Yesterday, we downed an unmanned aerial vehicle. If it had been a plane, we would have done exactly the same,’’ he said. ‘’Our policy is known. In case of violation of our borders we will follow a mandatory response," TASS quotes Davutoglu as saying.
