Davutoglu promises to form Turkish space agency

Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Ankara will create the Turkish Space Agency within the next three months.

Meant to coordinate Turkey’s various aerospace efforts, the Turkish Space Agency will focus on satellite launches, space stations, and deep space research, Defense News reports.

Earlier, the Turkish Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication of Turkey, Binali Yildirim, proposed to create an analogue of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA).
