Prime Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu has said that after the terrorist attacks in Istanbul the country's authorities will take additional security measures. First of all, they will be introduced in densely populated areas of the country.
"The steps are to be taken in order to make Istanbul a safe and quiet city. We have discussed the measures with our security forces," the Prime Minister said.
According to Davutoglu, additional security measures will be directed not only against terrorism, but also against drug trafficking and organized crime, RIA Novosti reports.
