De Mistura: Iranian-Saudi crisis won’t prevent a Syrian settlement

Relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia won’t prevent the process of a settlement of the Syrian crisis, the UN special envoy on Syria, Staffan de Mistura, said after his visits to Tehran and Riyadh.

"The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia convinced me that there will be no impact. I received the same assurances in Iran,’’ RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
