The preparatory meeting on Syria between the UN special envoy Staffan de Mistura and the delegation of the Syrian government has come to an end in Geneva.
"As you know, I held a meeting with a delegation of the Syrian government. The government sent a thorough delegation that arrived today in the afternoon. We held a preparatory meeting,'' RIA Novosti cites him as saying.
According to the diplomat, they discussed "the upcoming schedule and next steps" of the Inter-Syrian negotiations. In particular, the delegation from Damascus raised the issue of lists of terrorists. The special envoy recalled that the priority of the current meeting in Geneva was the implementation of the UN Security Council Resolution №2254.
