Death of his mother prevented el-Sisi's visit to Russia

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi decided to postpone indefinitely his visit to the Russian Federation in connection with the death of his mother - Egyptian newspaper Al-Masri al-Yaum reports.

Today, at the age of 80, after a long illness, mother of el-Sisi Malika Tiytani daied. As the newspaper notes, the farewell ceremony will be held in the mosque of Marshal Hussein Tantawi in Cairo - TASS reports.

According to the newspaper, el-Sisi was planning to pay an official visit to Moscow in late August.
