At least four Israeli soldiers have been killed and several others wounded after a truck rammed into pedestrians in Jerusalem, police and the ambulance service said, calling it a deliberate attack, Aljazeera reports.
The driver of the truck has been shot, following the incident.
At least 10 soldiers were trapped under the truck, and later rescued, with three of them in critical condition.
"It is a terrorist attack, a ramming attack," a police spokeswoman said on Israel Radio, which reported that bodies were "strewn on the street".
