U.S. President Donald Trump declared December 5 a day of national mourning. On this day, 41st President of the U.S. George H.W. Bush will be given a state funeral at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C. 

Trump will be attending the funeral in Washington, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said. The White House has already lowered its flag in honor of the former president, CBS News reported.

Former US President George HW Bush has died on November 30 at the age of 94 at home in Houston. Mr. Bush will be buried at his presidential library in College Station, Texas.

Bush Sr served as the U.S. president between 1989 and 1993, his term defined by the end of the Cold War and the first Iraq war against Saddam Hussein.
