The Defense Ministers of Russia, Iran and Syria, Sergey Shoigu, Hossein Dehghan and Fahd Jassem al-Freij, will meet in Tehran today, the press service of the Iranian Ministry of Defense said.
They will discuss the situation in Syria and methods of combating terrorism, evaluate counter-terrorism operations in Syria and strikes against terrorist groups, as well as chances of a political settlement in the country.
The Russian and Syrian Defense ministries have not officially confirmed this information yet.
