Defense Ministry: Baku and Ankara exchanged officers only for training purposes

The signing of the 'Protocol on the exchange of military/civilian staff for social and cultural purposes' between Azerbaijan and Turkey doesn't mean that high-ranking officers will serve in the military structures of the country on a reciprocal basis. The corresponding message was reported by the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.

This is only a training process, which is carried out to improve the combat training and coordination departments, Trend reports.
