The head of the State Committee of the Crimean government for international relations and deported citizens, Zaur Smirnov, has said that the country is preparing to receive delegations of investors from Italy and Switzerland.
"Representatives of major companies in Italy and Switzerland have expressed their desire for an entire delegation to visit Crimea in the near future. They are interested in the construction sector, as well as in the sphere of resort clusters. The discussed volumes of investments exceeding tens of billions of dollars,’’ he said.
According to Smirnov, within a month the authorities will coordinate all the issues of the visit, RIA Novosti reports.
The official also added that the agreement on the visit was reached in Dagestan during the celebration of the 2000th anniversary of the city of Derbent, RIA Novosti reports.
